I think we’re playing metagross wrong. Instead of trying to get as much metal energy on him as we can to swing for big numbers I think it’s better to get him in the active ASAP and just attack for 120-140. If you go second then you can get metagross in the active and swinging for 120 on your second turn. After that you’re doing progressively more damage each turn for as many as 4 or 5 turns before he gets KO’d. Performs well against hoopa and vespiqueen and holds its own against lucario.
Chandelure & Oricorio Discard up to two supporter cards per turn with the help of Oricorio. When available, come in with Chandelure in order to inflict large amounts of damage. In spread damage matchups, Bonsly is your savior. Credits to BigSlowpokeFan (Limitless Username)
The best deck in history.
M Sharpedo & Gyarados Tank with M Sharpedo all whilst charging up Gyarados and Chien-Pao ex. Come in mid-game with Gyarados to discard your damaged M Sharpedo, dealing great amount of damage, and remaining on a 1 point board!(edited)
Avoid the sleep scammers with Ogerpon's ability and threaten up to 210 damage with the help of Giovanni.
Original creator of mega Diance deck. Currently Top 500 with it. 64% win rate last season. You can play PCL or Cyrus instead of sabrina, but I found sabrina to be most consistent. I recommend 2 giratina since getting early for energy generation is crucial. I provide extensive detail on how to play most match ups in the origianl reddit post in the original reddit post.
This is what I'm playing at the moment that has gotten me into the top 5 on ranked
I had idea for this might need some work ,
Since Armarouge only needs 1 Fire Energy, getting such a reliable Ramp partner like Milotic EX can help him start swinging real quick! Running Dual Energies isn't so bad now since we have Rainbow Cave. In fact, in an ideal situation you could start attacking with Armarouge on your second Turn!!! Only weekness of this Deck is that it has no reliable Oricorio Counter.
My Take on the original genetic apex draco meteor deck this was my original draft so ill use it and if i can improve on it
Saw Ho-Oh & Lugia floating around and thought back about a deck made by Neji4real a few months ago. With the inclusion of Rainbow cave and flame patch it's so good now. Having Mega Zard as a finisher is nice, but I swapped it out for regular zard to help with the Ori match-up. Otherwise you basically insta lose
I revisited and updated Rapidash ex. Its pretty fast with the new ponyta. The draw back to rapidash ex is still its power and Hp. I'm using furfrou over castform due to fast hitters with 70-80 attacks running around. With furfrou I can tank one hit to stall for 1 turn in most matches. The deck profile is a high roll with barely any heals and can brick on finding rapidash ex at times but its a funzies deck. Try it out and have fun.
"Guys what archetype should we buff to make B4 a great season?" Hydreigon but you play it similar to Blaziken, one Bench snipe Absol and one 50 damage one (With deceptive needle). Juliana + Hiking Trail for more consistency, Mega Absol to close out games. Is this better than the other Hydreigon variants? I don't know, I haven't played Hydreigon since B1. Field Blower can be subbed out for a tech card of your choice, or Bombirdier.(edited)
Only Fire Energy Ho-Oh as the main starter, which can be quickly online by charmeleon and/or rainbow cave with flame patch. Mega Charizard X for quicker attacks and Mega Ray as the finisher Minior is there for Ori counter. Ho-Oh can generate energy for mega ray and put pressure. Sharpedo and most electric starters has to attack 3 times to knock out ho-oh. So you will get at least 1-2 attacks in, and by then both mega ray and mega Charizard x are ready.(edited)
Vespiquen ex & Shuckle ex Shuckle ex tanks up early-game damage and chips down your opponent. When available, come in with Vespiquen ex to deal huge amount of damage, all whilst discarding your losing conditions on board! Credits to FrogEX | Cosmo(edited)
