Got the inspiration for this deck back when Fantastical Parade came out! Idea is to get your Spiritomb into the active to start spreading damage while you build up your Obstagoon up on the bench! This also satisfies Obstagoon’s attack effect of dealing 50 more damage, but you can also do this with rocky helmet or with the Darkrai pings. Ripping 2 energy off your opponents is actually super debilitating and can really take control of the pacing of the game! Fun deck and super satisfying wins :)

I made this deck out of curiosity to see if early energy lock could be an effective strategy at winning games and it turns out it was pretty strong! This deck struggles with Oricorio but could easily be edited with either non-EX Milotic or Alolan Ninetails instead of Sightseer. Idea is to get your Vulpix into the active and Feebas on the bench so whether you go first or second, but any start proves to be pretty effective considering how quickly Milo can start attacking. Enjoy!

This deck was inspired by the idea of small damage being enough damage! The idea is to get the Spiritomb into the active spot to start hitting the opponents entire board while getting your Decidueye ready! Rowlet or Dart can do the same. To keep it consistent you have the Fragrant Forrest to help get them out and Cyrus’s to help control the pace of the game until then. Wally acts as a great way to accelerate energy for Deci’s sniping attack! Hope this one gets featured on Wild Card Wed! :)

This deck was inspired by the high-potential, low usage mons of the early days with the help of some new additions! Idea is to get Phanpy in the active and to get the fighting coach ability into play ASAP. The idea kinda speaks for itself and this deck has a built-in Ori answer with Lucario and a backup attacker in Koraidon. If you can “play your cards” right, you can be dealing 100 damage on (your) second turn for one single energy! Super fun and satisfying deck to win with :)

You’re all caught up.
