This version of the deck lets Mega Medicham ex match similar numbers to Mega Lucario ex in terms of damage, tho the energy req. makes it a turn slower. Sandy Shocks can be used as a Cyrus, Sabrina, Lana or just early disruption if you have the right energies in the discard pile early enough. It scales with Happiny's effect and Arena as well as Korrina (and also counts weakness) unlike most bench snipers. Rainbow Cave helps cycle energies for more consistency and can help Sandy Shocks as well.

Just fire energy for flame patch consistency so it's essential to get rainbow cave out early. No retreat tool as Rays 1 energy retreat only feeds flame patch. If ho oh accelerates only to Ray, you'll always leave the water energy for retreat later on. There is no answer for pom pom oricorio but I find I haven't ran into it much on this current ranked ladder. Could add Minior
